A lawyer of former Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko, Yuriy Sukhov, assumes that the gas case against his client could be sent by the Higher Specialized Court on Civil and Criminal Cases for additional investigation or a new trial.
"Being aware of the situation in our justice, I don't rule out that our appeal would be partially satisfied – the case may be sent for a new investigation or a new trial," the lawyer said on Thursday.
The lawyer asked that court to take into account the health state of Tymoshenko and not to choose a punitive measure for her in case it takes one of such decisions.

Everyone remember that Russia stopped Gas to Ukraine.
What choice did Ukraine have ?
1/. Freeze to death in the winter
2/. Negociate a Gas contract with Russia's
Of course Russia demand a high big price
Russia told said to Ukraine Pay big $$ for our Gas OR your people will Freeze
Russia turned off the gas because 35 to 40% of the gaz leaving Russian in transit to EU didn't come out the other end. Mrs Tymoshenko's own statements at the time said Ukraine had enough gaz in storage to last 'until the end of the winter'. She also stated that the missing gaz was used as 'technical gaz', IOW used to power the pumps for transit. Russia didn't buy that argument and turned off the spigot. It was after the spigot was turned off that Mrs T went to Mockba and signed the deal.
Let us not forget the villanous role that former President Yushchenko played in this murky affair. If it were not for him and his unrelenting hatred of Yulia Tymoshenko the Ukrainian Government at that time would have had a beneficial contract with the Russian Government. Furthermore, had he not deliberately played the role of saboteur at the behest of his brother Viktor Yanukovych in the 2010 elections for the Presidency of Ukraine, he would not be living in a mansion at the taxpayers expence, and Ukraine would not have had to face the ruinous rule of the authoritarian reprobate, Viktor Yanukovych.
