 BRUSSELS - Ukraine, the European Union, and Russia have jointly decided to establish a consultation mechanism for the Association Agreement concluded earlier between Kyiv and Brussels, European Commissioner for Trade Karel De Gucht said on Friday after the first trilateral ministerial meeting of the EU, Russia and Ukraine on the implementation of the Association Agreement.

In order to cope with potential risks and create favorable conditions for trade and economic relations, participants in the meeting agreed to launch a consultation mechanism to discuss in the first place technical regulatory measures, customs, veterinary and biosecurity issues, he said.

Karel De Gucht said Russia would provide a list of concerns and potential risks to its economy by July 20, 2014.
