You're reading: Ukraine’s newly elected MPs take oath

The newly elected Ukrainian parliamentarians have sworn the oath of MPs.

All parliamentarians read out the oath in chorus, and then signed it, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.

In addition, a photocopy of the text of the oath signed by Ukrainian pilot Nadia Savchenko, who is jailed in Russia and who was elected an MP on the Batkivschyna party ticket, was displayed on the electronic board in the session hall.
