Kyiv, May 1 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The election convention of the Communist Party of Ukraine will be held on July 30, Communist Party Leader Petro Symonenko has said.
"We have slated the congress for July 30," the Communist Party leader told reporters on Tuesday.
Symonenko said that they were planning to make an election program based on proposals made by citizens of Ukraine.
"We will do so that the people of Ukraine will write an election platform for the Communist Party," he said.
According to Symonenko, the Communist Party is planning to hold a meeting of citizens, where they will discuss with them the party’s election platform and its candidates for the Verkhovna Rada.
