Representatives of the Ukrainian political opposition are planning to stop fighting against one another at the 2012 parliamentary elections and to form a single list of candidates in single mandate constituencies.

Representatives of the Ukrainian political opposition are planning to stop fighting against one another at the 2012 parliamentary elections and to form a single list of candidates in single mandate constituencies. "The opposition forces are forming a single list of candidates who will be elected in single mandate constituencies under the 'one constituency - one candidate' principle from the united opposition," according to the Agreement on joint action of the united Ukrainian opposition, which was read out at a rally in Sofiyska Square in Kyiv on Sunday.

After our victory at the 2012 parliamentary elections we shall form a majority in Verkhovna Rada, opposition activists said.

Front for Change Party Leader Arseniy Yatseniuk told reporters that the agreement has set out the core principles of the oppositional forces activities and laid down a clause about the formation of the coalition in the future parliament.

When the agreement of the opposition forces was read on the Sofiyska Square it was not announced who signed it.
