The Batkivschyna united opposition has approved its list of candidates for MPs in single-member constituencies for the parliamentary elections scheduled for Oct. 28.
An Interfax-Ukraine reporter said that the head of the central election headquarters of the united opposition, Oleksandr Turchynov, announced the list at a congress in Kyiv on Monday.
In particular, European Party leader Mykola Katerynchuk will run in the 13th constituency, journalist Tetiana Chornovil in the 120th, former Economy Minister Serhiy Teriokhin in the 211th, former head of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's main office in Kyiv Vitaliy Yarema in the 212th, and Our Ukraine-People's Self-Defense MPs Ksenia Liapina and Volodymyr Ariev in the 216th and 218th.
