Reduction of the number of government officials is one of the ways to reduce the deficit of the Pension Fund, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has said.
"We need to release public finances in order to assign them to the people who have the hardest lives. And how can we reduce the deficit of the Pension Fund? We will reduce it through streamlining the system of the government," he told journalists in Moscow on Friday.
At the same time, Yanukovych stressed the need for holding the pension reform in future in Ukraine.
