Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has arrived on an official visit to Qatar.

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has arrived on an official visit to Qatar. 

An official ceremony of the meeting of Yanukovych and Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani took place in the city of Doha, the presidential press service reported on Tuesday.

After the ceremony, which was chaired by the Ukrainian President and the Emir of Qatar, the talks between the two countries' delegations started. They will be followed by a tete-a-tete meeting between Yanukovych and Sheikh Hamad.

The presentation of Ukrainian national projects will also be held with the participation of Yanukovych. Then the Ukrainian president is expected make a tour of the Qatar Science and Technology Park.

Yanukovych will be on visit to Qatar November 27-28.
