Yanukovych going to call on Tigipko, Yatseniuk to join his team

Presidential candidate Victor Yanukovych has said that Sergiy Tigipko and Arseniy Yatseniuk, who lost the first round of the election, may join his team. "I am certain that society and our voters showed in the first round that new persons are highly required. I am sure that both Tigipko and Yatseniuk have a good chance to be in the team that will unite Ukraine and will build our country together with me," Yanukovych said on the air of the Inter TV channel.

"I am confident that many new persons and experienced staff that are capable of efficient work will join on this track," he said.

He stressed that he will seek support of voters who cast their ballots for other candidates in the first round. "I will work for the whole country and all voters," Yanukovych said.

Yanukovych once again confirmed his intention to start talks on the creation of a new parliamentary coalition immediately.
