Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has said that each person, including a high-ranking official, has the right to private life.

"I don’t allow everybody in (to peek in his personal life). I allow those whom I respect, whom I trust in some way, and those I know do not bear a grudge," he said in an interview with national television channels that was recorded in his Mezhyhiria residence on Friday and aired on Tuesday.

The president showed his residence to reporters and told how he spends his spare time.

According to Yanukovych, every morning he jogs along a path made of stumps. Then the president swims in an outdoor pool located on the territory of his residence. According to him, he swims five kilometers a day.

In addition, Yanukovych plays tennis for an hour and a half three or four times a week.

The president also showed his bathhouse intended for two persons and a house with beehives.
