The Regions' Council will regularly hold offsite meetings, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has said.
"We will visit various regions. Thanks to this approach, every region will have a chance to prepare and demonstrate its level of readiness and its achievements. This is a creative approach," the president told reporters in Mayske (Dnipropetrovsk region) on Thursday, after an offsite meeting of the Regions’ Council.
Yanukovych announced that next meetings of the Regions’ Council will take place in Kyiv in February and in Kharkiv region in April.
