Over 400 officials of the current government are either facing trial or have already been prosecuted for wrongdoing, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has said. "Today, more than 400 high-ranking officials of the current government are either under investigation, or have already undergone trial," he said in an interview with the Inter television channel aired on Wednesday.

Yanukovych noted that the current government is involved in a tough fight against corruption.

"I respect all people who are working for the benefit of the state. Unfortunately, they have been thinking more of themselves than of the state in recent years," the president said.

Why is yushenko not facing trial. The evidence is clear that he misused and abised the Office of the President. Yushenko should beb the first to face charges and the first convicted.

The imbecile president keeps repeating this nonsense about the list of "government officials" under investigation. Who are these? What are the charges? How many are ministers with PoR affiliation? No one takes this seriously unless some more specific details are presented.

As an argument against the use of selective justice, it has long time been exposed as lacking credibility.

Yanukonman is on a mission to imprison all of his adversaries(isn't that what Stalin tried to do?). The problem is that the more he arrests people the more adversaries he creates. Soon he will be the only one left standing.
