All these news sounding so dry like in "radio Yerevan" jokes. Maybe some complete information such as the reason why, the motivation, other politicians or analysts comments on it may help such small pieces of information look like real articles.
Cheers!
will find someone who won't hesitate to carry out orders to massacre thousands of peaceful protesting demonstrators after fraudulent elections
As you know, Salamatin until recently was a citizen of Russia.

Serhyi Leshchenko: Tax Haven of Yanukovych and Kluyev
Another significant example of business shared by the politicians concerns dealings between Serhiy Kluyev and Viktor Yanukovych while the former bought an apartment of the latter, paying the apparently inflated price of USD 7 million. The transaction seemed to be an attempt to make the income of the future head of state legitimate.

It's interesting, maybe revealing, that his last two major appointments lived a major part of their lives in Moscow.
After working in Russia from 1991 till 1999 Salamatin moved to Ukraine in April 1999.[2][3]
Famous quotation from the Vladimir Putin’s speech at the Chekist Day party at the FSB headquarters in December 1999 was: “I want to report to you that the mission of the group of FSB officers sent undercover to work at the government is being accomplished successfully.”
Since Vladimir Putin’s rise to power at the end of the 1990s, siloviki have spread to posts throughout all the branches of power in Russia. According to a 2006 study by Olga Kryshtanovskaya, the head of the Center for the Study of Elites at the Russian Academy of Sciences, people with a security background filled 77 percent of Russia’s top 1,016 governmentalpositions.1
Since its outset, the siloviki regime has been aggressive. At first it focused on actively destroying centers of independent political, civil, and economic life within Russia. Upon achieving those goals, the regime’s aggressive behavior turned outward beyond Russia’s borders.

Everyone in the room knew what the second part entailed, said an FSB officer who attended the event and related what took place.
"We knew that the second part was to become president and to appoint former KGB colleagues to top government posts," the officer said.
In the speech, Putin assured the people in the room that he would not forget them once he reached the pinnacle of power, the officer said.
"There are no former agents," Putin declared, giving a new twist to a common joke among KGB officers.
The listening FSB officers raised a toast to Cheka founder Felix Dzerzhinsky and Yury Andropov, the longest-serving KGB chief.
That night, they had one more reason to celebrate, the FSB officer said: After years of humiliation, the intelligence services were on the brink of being restored to their former prestige.
It was Dec. 20, 1999, just 11 days before Boris Yeltsin abruptly resigned and named Putin as acting president. Three months later, Putin won a snap presidential election.

Azarov gives Moscow {AKA : Muscovy} Ukraine's cultural heritage for free (while Ukraine is paying more for gas - the highest price in the world...) - meanwhile, Yanukovych is too ignorant to realize/understand/care that Yanukovych will be remembered in history as the Benedict Arnold {AKA : Judas} of Ukraine?
Did Yanukovych not learn anything when he gave the BSF to Moscow for free? Today, non-Ukrainian flags fly on the lighthouses on the coast of Ukraine!
Is this the legacy that Yanykovych wants to leave his children?
Is this the legacy that the other Judases in the Verchovna Rada want to leave their children?

Recall also that the February 1, 2012, Patriarch Kirill met with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. Congratulated the Patriarch of the third anniversary of his enthronement, Putin noted that the activities of the Patriarch, "the so-called post-Soviet space" - is " definitely one of the most important elements of our foreign policy . "
Thus, the Russian government publicly acknowledged that the desire of the Patriarch to influence the internal affairs of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church is part of Russia's foreign policy. We must assume that the recent changes in top management of the UOC of the Moscow come to pass, not without influence. Communications of the current permanent members of the Synod of the UOC of the Russian political establishment becomes even more apparent when we recall a recent speech in support of the Metropolitan Agafangel Putin as a candidate for president of Russia.
In his interview to Regnum news agency, Metropolitan Agafangel branded enemies of Russia and called on Putin to fulfill the mission "entrusted to him the Saviour of the world" .

Back in November last year to our informahentsiyi turned panotets Victor Mileyko, parish priest of the Mother of God Icon "burning bush" that Obolon. In this parish established a patriotic youth club, there is a film review and more. Near the chapel belonging to the religious community than just a memorial sign Kiev - the soldiers of the UNR, at which parishioners hold regular memorial service for fallen defenders - although, in which army they fought.
Father Victor complained that since October, his parish (near the chapel is built church) zateroryzuvala lots inspecting authorities (sanitary and epidemic authority, public fire safety inspection Derzharhbudkontrolyu etc.), and he managed to learn that the written order of such checks gave SBU.
That is, the Security Service confirmed information about the checks. Unclear remained only one thing: what is the SBU. Does violation of the construction of the church can be a matter of national security?

Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill, speaking at a reception to mark the third anniversary of his enthronement, paid special attention to the situation in the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. In his speech he said that he approved all the decisions taken by the Synod in Kyiv, and told the audience of "disability," the head of the UOC and the performance obyazannnostey chairman of the Metropolitan Synod of the UOC Odessa Agafangel. On the same day the Russian government has recognized the fact that the pursuit of Patriarch Kirill to influence the internal affairs of the UOC is a part of Russia's foreign policy ...

And of course this is definitely one of the most important elements of our foreign policy, above all, of course, I mean our relationship with our neighbors closest to the so-called post-Soviet space. It is very important for people who live there, it's important to feel its inextricable link with the Russian Orthodox Church, which means that with Russia,

Russian patriarch calls Putin era 'miracle of God'
Today at 15:05 | Reuters
MOSCOW, Feb 8 (Reuters) - The head of the Russian Orthodox church on Wednesday called the 12 years of Vladimir Putin's rule a "miracle of God" and criticised his opponents, at a gathering where religious leaders heaped praise on the prime minister.
Patriarch Kirill, a bearded cleric seen as a modernising figure in the Russian church, the largest in Orthodox Christianity, compared the period preceding Putin's ascent to power to the 1941 Nazi invasion of the Soviet Union.
"What were the 2000s then? Through a miracle of God, with the active participation of the country's leadership, we managed to exit this horrible, systemic crisis," Kirill told a meeting at the ancient St. Daniel's monastery.
"I should say it openly as a patriarch who must only tell the truth, not paying attention to the political situation or propaganda, you personally played a massive role in correcting this crooked twist of our history," Kirill said.
Kirill called opposition demands to "ear-piercing shrieks" and said the protesters represented a minority of Russians. He said Western consumer culture was admired by many of Putin's opponents and was a major threat to Russia.

The Power of the New KGB
Bukovsky: In our time it was difficult, but now…I began by discussing the difference between the Soviet KGB and the KGB of today (I prefer to call FSB by its old name). But I need also to point to some fundamental similarities that remain in place no matter what. The first thing the new protesters should remember is that it is futile to make any agreements with the KGB. All the Western politicians (with the exception of Ronald Reagan) make here a basic error.
Western politicians simply do not grasp the fact that among the species of Homosapiens there exists this very special type. You cannot make agreements with the representatives of this type because it is not in their plans to make agreements. Their task is to make you their agent. You are either an agent (potential or actual) or an enemy; nothing else exists. You may think that you are conducting yourself in a civilized manner when you find some compromises, but for them, any compromise is a sign of weakness, and it means that you should be pressed and pushed further. So one must remember – the quicker one sees through them, the less one is their victim.
I can tell you a story. Well, it has some non-standard language, but I will try to smooth the rough edges.
In our camp I met an old teacher from Zakarpattia Oblast of Southwestern Ukraine. He was an erudite, knew five languages, was an extraordinary man. But all of a sudden our supervisor begins to punish him and send him to solitary confinement for 15 days, and repeats this again and again. In the camps among the prisoners there was this multi-ethnic committee – or so it was called. People of different nationalities – Armenians, Jews, Ukrainians, Russians, Lithuanians – gathered to discuss the situation in the zone. And here emerges the new problem: how to help our intelligent teacher. I (instead of keeping my mouth shut) say, “The supervisor is trying to make him a stool pigeon, and our teacher is not able to send them all to hell. One should use the foulest arsenal of four-letter words as soon as possible. They do not understand any other language.”
Well, any initiative is punishable. The committee decided that I should explain to the teacher the situation as soon as he finished his new term in solitary confinement.
When the teacher came out from his solitary cell, I explained the situation to him and tried to teach him how to swear. To use Russian “mat” (swearing language) in full measure — according to the system of Stanislavsky. But the teacher’s lips refused to move. He simply could not say it. He knew five languages, but he could not swear. Three hours I was instructing him. Finally he learned; he grasped the situation in full depth. Next time the supervisor sent him to the solitary confinement for 15 days, the teacher swore hard and dirty, and when he finished his fifteen days, they no longer touched him.
This is a story – a Gulag parable, in fact. It shows that with the KGB one cannot behave in any other manner. They do not understand subtlety; their heads work differently. They have been trained only one way. And if you cannot send them off with the foulest four letter words, you will bind yourself to a great woe.

KYIV POST,
If the name of this news agency is translated and transliteration
from vernacular Ukrainian, why then on your banner is this Capital's
forecast labeled 'Weather Kiev' translated and transliterated from
archaic [Old} Slavonic? You are a NEWs agency not anthology.
Brian and Musketeers,
Are you hedging the fence to see if you are to be;
'naturalize' or 'nationalize' Ukrainians?
Despite the Soviet raised inferiority complex psychology
aboriginal Rus'yns AKA Ukrainian do care, leading to their
passive aggression. Is the KP's holy trinity prepared to publish
in English, Ukrainian AND Slavonic?
No, Russian is an afterthought not formation roots.
Today, the Anti-Ukrainian "government" in Ukraine wants to give the Ukrainian land that stored the archives of Ukraine to Moscow {AKA : Muscovy} after Muscovy burned over one thousand (1,000) years of Ukraine's History {AKA : Heritage} that was stored on the land in the Capital of UKRAINE ! ! ! ! ! ! !
In 1718, Muscovites burned down the archives and library at the Kyiv Caves Monastery, destroying a stock gathered over 700 years.
In 1743, old Ukrainian religious books were gathered from all Ukrainian temples and burned.

PS Please note that the stock that was gathered for over 700 years contained Latin and Greek books also. Back then, there were many "limited editions" of one (1) copy, etc ! ! ! !
In the 1930's, the Kremlin and their clique orchestrated show trials against the Ukrainian intelligentsia, starting with the infamous case of "Union for the Liberation of Ukraine" (Spilka Vizvollennya Ukrainy).
Other well-known atrocities include the deportation of the so-called "kulaks", and of course, the organizing of outright genocide: the artificial starvation known as Holodomor (1932-1933).
The later tragedy was reflected in the folklore epic "Duma pro Golod" (¡°The Ballad about Starvation¡±) sung by predominantly blind traveling bards, called "kobzars".
To erase the people's memory, the kobzars were exterminated by a direct order from the Kremlin, and a centuries-old folklore tradition died with them.
