Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has signed a law on amendments to the 2013 state budget on the allocation of Hr 922 million to the Health Ministry for purchasing ambulances.

“The president more than once said about the necessity to fully reequip emergency medical systems, in particular, to provide change technically out-of-date ambulances. Money envisaged by the amendments to the state budget will help fulfill the task set by the head of the state – to buy and deliver to the Ukrainian regions over 1,000 specialized vehicles for emergency medical aid centers,” the president’s press service reported on Wednesday.
