You're reading: Yanukovych, three former Ukrainian presidents to discuss finding solution to crisis

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych said he supported the idea of first Ukrainian President Leonid Kravchuk to hold a national roundtable to find a compromise in the current situation.

Kravchuk proposed that Yanukovych hold a national roundtable in order
to find a compromise in the political crisis and that he invite
representatives of the authorities and opposition to participate in it,
Yanukovych’ press office said on Monday.

It has been reported that EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs
and Security Policy Catherine Ashton will arrive in Kyiv on Dec. 10.

The meeting of four Ukrainian presidents (Kravchuk, Leonid Kuchma,
Viktor Yuschenko and Yanukovych) proposed by Kravchuk will take place on Dec. 10. They are to discuss important issues facing Ukraine, the press
office said.
