You're reading: Yanukovych to discuss with Putin cooperation in energy and Customs Union

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych is intending during his visit to Russia on March 4 to discuss a wide range of issues of the Ukrainian-Russian cooperation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, Head of the Presidential Administration Serhiy Liovochkin has said. 

According to the official presidential Web site, Yanukovych intends to discuss cooperation in energy, trade and economic, and scientific and technical fields.

“The parties will also focus on the development of a mutually acceptable mechanism of Ukraine’s cooperation with the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan,” reads a statement.
