Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych will hold a meeting on September 14 regarding the implementation of state regulatory policy by the regional authorities.

An Interfax-Ukraine reporter said that First Deputy Prime Minister Andriy Kliuyev announced this during a conference call on Tuesday.

"On September 14, the president will hold a regional meeting, and this issue will be considered then," he said.

Kliuyev ordered the Crimean Council of Ministers, regional state administrations, as well as the Kyiv and Sevastopol city state administrations, to bring their regulatory acts into conformity with the policies implemented by the government in this area.

He said that of the 25,000 regulatory acts that were to be cancelled or amended, currently about 660 remained.

Kliuyev also instructed local government agencies to complete the process of deregulation in the regions by September 9 and provide respective reports to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
