Viktor Yanukovych and Yulia Tymoshenko have reached a February 7 runoff of the presidential election, say the results of the exit polls conducted on Sunday. The two frontrunners are followed by Sergiy Tigipko.

The results of the National Exit Poll show that Yanukovych scored 31.5% of votes, Tymoshenko 27.2%, Tigipko 13.5%, Arseniy Yatseniuk 7.8%, and Viktor Yuschenko 6.0%. Petro Symonenko garnered 2.8% of votes and Volodymyr Lytvyn 2.4%. A total of 2.1% of voters supported Oleh Tiahnybok and 1.7% Anatoliy Hrytsenko. A total of 2.7% did not support any of the presidential candidates. A total of 12,349 people participated in the exit poll.

The results of the exit poll were announced at the Intermediaconsulting information agency at 20:00 Kyiv time on Sunday. The exit poll was conducted by the Razumkov Center and Kyiv International Institute of Sociology. The project was coordinated by the Democratic Initiatives Foundation.

According to the Inter TV Channel’s exit poll, Yanukovych won 36.6% of votes, Tymoshenko 25.8%, Tigipko 13.5%, Yatseniuk 6.6%, Yuschenko 5.2%, Symonenko 3.2%, and Lytvyn 2%. A total of 1.6% of voters supported Oleh Tiahnybok and 1.3% Anatoliy Hrytsenko. A total of 15,000 people were polled with the margin of error being 0.7%.

The results of the Inter channel’s exit poll held jointly with three sociological companies (Socis, FOM-Ukraine and Ukrainian Sociology Service) were announced at 20:00 Kyiv time on Sunday in a special broadcast of the Podrobnosti TV program.

The results of the exit poll conducted for Savik Shuster Studio and announced on the Ukraina TV and radio company, Yanukovych got 34.7% of votes, Tymoshenko 25.0%, Tigipko 13.2%, Yatseniuk 7.1%, Yuschenko 5.8%, Symonenko 3.0%, and Lytvyn 2.5%. A total of 2.0% of voters supported Oleh Tiahnybok and 1.1% Anatoliy Hrytsenko. A total of 2.9% of voters said they had not cast their vote for any of the candidates.

In the exit poll initiated by ICTV channel and conducted by GfK NO international company 35.06% said they voted for Yanukovych, 25.72% for Tymoshenko, 13.41% for Tigipko, 6.87% for Yatseniuk, 5.61% for Yuschenko, 3.17% for Symonenko and 2.32% for Lytvyn. A total of 1.98% of voters supported Oleh Tiahnybok and 1.30% Anatoliy Hrytsenko. The results were announced on ICTV at 20:00 Kyiv time on Sunday.

An exist poll was also conducted by the Oleksandr Yaremenko Institute for Social Studies at orders from the weekly Argumenty i Fakty v Ukraine in which 34.7% said they voted for Yanukovych, 24.8% for Tymoshenko, 11.51% for Tigipko, 8.9% for Yatseniuk, 5.4% for Yuschenko, 3.1% for Symonenko and 2.2% for Lytvyn. A total of 1.7% of voters supported Oleh Tiahnybok and 1.4% Anatoliy Hrytsenko. The results of the poll involving 15,732 voters were disclosed in the conference hall of the Ukrainian Media Holding at 20:00 Kyiv time on Sunday. The margin of error was 2.2% for the frontrunners and 1.5% for the remaining candidates running for presidency.

In the exit poll conducted by Research & Branding Group 37.66% said they voted for Yanukovych, 26.13% for Tymoshenko, 11.64% for Tigipko, 7.09% for Yatseniuk, 5.12% for Yuschenko, 2.98% for Symonenko and 2.12% for Lytvyn. A total of 10,000 people were polled and 2.63% of them did not support any candidates.
