Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych could register an account in the social network Facebook, Ukrainian president's representative at the Verkhovna Rada, Yuriy Miroshnychenko (Regions Party faction), has said.
"This is an objective necessity. I think this will happen," he said on March 6, when asked by journalists whether the president was planning to register with Facebook.
Miroshnychenko also said that the president uses a laptop.
"He does not read new from printouts, as it happened earlier when news briefs were brought to the leader and he read them. This is not done anymore," he said.
Miroshnychenko said the president is very interested in the situation on the media scene.
