Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk, during a meeting with PACE President Anne Brasseur, stated how important her arrival in Ukraine was, considering the country’s difficult situation.

“The number of shelling attacks by Russia-ruled terrorists increased three times,” the government’s press service quotes Yatseniuk as saying on Jan. 15.

The premier also discussed the terrorist attack on a bus near Volnovakha. “Russia is weak, but it wants the whole world to see that it is still strong through using its artillery and its terrorists,” Yatseniuk said.

He stressed that Ukraine is extremely concerned over this escalation.

“The only one way to respond to the strike, which may be given both to Russia-led terrorists and those terrorists who committed a furious crime in Paris, is our unity. Unity and power,” the head of the government said.
