The rejection of a request by Leader of the Front for Change Party Arseniy Yatseniuk to meet with former Ukrainian Premier Yulia Tymoshenko in the penal colony will not hinder the opposition from coordinating its actions with Tymoshenko.

"We failed to meet, but we have a way to coordinate our political agreements. And they will not manage to prevent the opposition from further unification and winning the elections," Yatseniuk told reporters on Wednesday in Kharkiv outside the Kachanivska Penal Colony.

The politician added that he was following only political aims in asking for a meeting with Tymoshenko.

"First of all, I wanted to see and humanly support her and tell her that a fight always leads to victory," he said.

The leader of the Front for Change party also said that the opposition will continue the process of unification, so as to form a majority in the next composition of the Verkhovna Rada and "strive for the liberation of the country and Tymoshenko."
