The Ukrainian government will present the program of activity of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada this week, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk has said.

“We all agreed that the program of activity of the government must be prepared and presented in parliament by the end of this week,” he said, while opening a government meeting on Dec. 3.

He said that the issue concerned the document that will include a list of specific goals and ways to achieve them.

Yatsenyuk noted that each minister should determine three major priorities for 2015 and a plan to implement them.

He said that the government intended to dedicate a separate meeting to the program of activity, without specifying exactly when it should take place.

Yatsenyuk again outlined the five major objectives of the program, in particular, national security and defense, economy and reform of the tax sphere, the fight against corruption, energy and the completion of reforms in the energy sector, as well as the reform of state power and decentralization.
