Astana - The Central Election Commission has issued accreditation to 96 more foreign monitors to oversee the early parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan.
"Ninety-six monitors from four international organizations and five countries will get the accreditation at the Foreign Ministry’s recommendation," Central Election Commission member Tatyana Okhlopkova said at a meeting of the Commission in Astana.
As many as 789 foreign observers have been accredited already, she said.
The issuance of accreditation ends at 00:00 on Monday, Okhlopkova said.
