British MP appears at Pussy Riot trial

British MP Kerry McCarthy has come to the Moscow Khamovnichesky Court to become familiar with the Pussy Riot trial, Pyotr Verzilov, the husband of Pussy Riot activist Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, told reporters.

Moscow - British MP Kerry McCarthy has come to the Moscow Khamovnichesky Court to become familiar with the Pussy Riot trial, Pyotr Verzilov, the husband of Pussy Riot activist Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, told reporters. 

"She [McCarthy] came to Russia, to Moscow, for several days specially to become familiar with the Pussy Riot trial," Verzilov said, adding that McCarthy was invited to the trial by the lawyers for the defense.
