You're reading: Central Bank Head: Inflation in Russia will be 6.5%-7% this year

MOSCOW - Overall inflation in Russia this year could run from 6.5% to 7%, Central Bank of Russia Chairman Sergei Ignatyev said in an address to the State Duma on Wednesday.

 

“As of November 14, the annual rate of consumer price growth was 6.5%, and the inflation rate has stabilized in October-November. For 2012 in all, and from a calculation of December against December, inflation will in my estimation be from 6.5% to 7%,” Ignatyev said.
