Head of the EU Delegation to Russia Vygaudas Usackas is shocked by the murder of Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov and hopes that Russian authorities will swiftly probe his murder.

"Boris Nemtsov has left behind a huge heritage which Russians and his foreign friends will keep and continue his unfinished aspirations," he said.

“I am shocked and cannot believe that such a thing could have taken place. My mind and my prayers are with the family of Boris, his relatives and friends. The culprit must be found and brought to justice. I hope that Russian authorities will act swiftly,” Usackas said.
