Failure of Domodedovo Airport departure control system causes flight delays

Several flights were delayed at Moscow's Domodedovo Airport on Thursday evening due to technical problems with the departure control system, an airport spokesman told Interfax.

MOSCOW - Several flights were delayed at Moscow's Domodedovo Airport on Thursday evening due to technical problems with the departure control system, an airport spokesman told Interfax.

The system was out of the service for six hours, he said.

Most of the delayed flights have already taken off.
