You're reading: Gazprom doubles spending on South Stream in 2014 budget

MOSCOW - After Gazprom carried out a planned revision of its 2014 investment program, it was decided to increase spending on South Stream by 78 percent and the construction of the Bovanenkovo-Ukhta gas pipeline by 44 percent, according to data in the updated memorandum on the concern's Eurobonds.

Over the last three years (2012-2014), Gazprom has spent 161.58 billion rubles, or around $4.66 billion, on South Stream.
