Moscow - The body of crime lord Aslan Usoyan aka Ded (Grandfather) Khasan killed in Moscow was brought back to Russia from Donetsk after Georgian authorities had denied permission to bury him in Georgia, a police source told Interfax.

“The Usoyan family asked Georgian authorities for burying the crime boss in the country of his birth,” he said.

The coffin was transported to Donetsk on Friday for further
relocation to Georgia but Georgian authorities denied permission for the
burial.

“The coffin carrying the Usoyan body returned to Moscow today. Most
probably, Ded Khasan will be buried at the Danilovskoye cemetery in the
Russian capital city,” the source said.

A sniper killed Usoyan as he was leaving the Karetny Dvor restaurant
on Moscow’s Povarskaya Street at about 2:30 p.m. on January 17.
