You're reading: Investigators ask court to remand Vnukovo snow plough operator into custody

Moscow - Russian investigators have requested that Vladimir Martynenko, the operator of the snow plough with which Total CEO Christophe de Margerie's Falcon jet collided at Moscow's Vnukovo airport on Oct. 21 evening, be remanded into custody.

“A request from the Investigative Committee asking that Martynenko be remanded into custody has already been received,” spokesperson for Moscow’s Basmanny Court Anna Fadeyeva told on Oct. 23.
