Grozny, Russia - Chechnya leader Ramzan Kadyrov, whom the European Union has put on its anti-Russian sanctions list, on Saturday, July 26 said he made his own sanctions list and put U.S. President Barack Obama and EU leaders on it.

“Today I have decided to create a sanctions list and include in it U.S. President Barack Obama, European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso, European Council President Herman Van Rompuy, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton, and European Parliament President Martin Schulz,” Kadyrov wrote on Instagram.

“I have given instructions to freeze their bank accounts and all their assets. With effect from July 27, the above-listed politicians are banned from entering the Chechen Republic.”

“The entire world has witnessed the tragedies of the peoples of Libya, Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan, and recently Ukraine. Under the guise of exporting democracy, civilians, women, old people, and children are killed, and cities and religious holy sites are destroyed. The U.S. and EU bear direct responsibility for all that is happening. The actions of their leaders represent state terrorism that targets nations. Most frequently, it is the blood of Muslims that is shed,” Kadyrov said.
