You're reading: Kazakhstan changes ambassador to Russia

ASTANA - Galym Orazbakov has been appointed the new Kazakh ambassador to Russia.

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the relevant decree, the presidential press service reported on April 25.

By the same decree, Orazbakov was relieved from his post as ambassador to Israel and Cyprus.

The press service said that the previous ambassador to Russia, Zautbek Turisbekov, was appointed ambassador to Ukraine. Meanwhile, Bolat Nurgaliyev became the ambassador of Kazakhstan to Israel.
