MOSCOW - Russia favors the further application of the Minsk format of the negotiations on Ukraine as a unique one, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

“Russia speaks in favor of the unconditional continuation of the Minsk process. This is a unique format. It is the only one in which the conflicting parties are represented, with Russia’s and the OSCE’s participation,” Lavrov said at a press conference following negotiations with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Moscow on Nov. 18.
