Minsk, March 18 (Interfax) – Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that Belarus had reserves which would help the country in the event of another world economic crisis.
Belarus has enough in its till and if needed it will use its reserves and will survive, the Belarusian president told Russia Today TV channel.
Lukashenko said that the whole world, including Belarus, could face another economic crisis if it will come from its homeland, the United States.
It is a fact that Europe has sagged today, has failed economically. Half of Belarusian exports are there. What will happen to the Belarusian economy? Of course, it will sag, the Belarusian president said.
Lukashenko said that it was always an issue when the whole world sags for all the countries especially for Georgia, Belarus, Ukraine and others with real economy sector, with basically no hydrocarbons, world prices for which are still high.
