Chisinau - Moldovan Prime Minister Vlad Filat will visit Moscow on September 10-11 at the invitation of his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev.

Filat will attend the opening of the Days of Moldovan Culture in Russia, the Moldovan government told Interfax on Monday.

The premiers “will discuss the entire range of bilateral relations and cooperation at international organizations,” it said.

Filat and Medvedev had a telephone conversation a month ago and agreed to start negotiations on an intergovernmental agreement on energy cooperation.

The agreement will relate to Russian natural gas transit and the introduction of the EU Third Energy Package Moldova has joined.
