Russia expects that the Normandy Quartet foreign ministers will gather for a meeting in the near future.
“In line with an agreement between the [leaders] of Russia, Germany and France, a meeting of the Normandy Quartet foreign ministers is being prepared. Russia has made its proposals on this account, and we expect that a meeting will take place in the near future,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a news briefing on Sept. 3.
