Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak and European Energy Commissioner Gunther Oettinger have begun bilateral consultations at the European Commission office in Brussels, a source in the Russian Energy Ministry told the press.
A Ukrainian delegation is expected to arrive at the European Commission office for tripartite negotiations later.
Earlier reports said Oettinger had held consultations in Kyiv on Monday ahead of the next round of the trilateral gas meeting.
