Experts from the Interstate Aviation Committee investigating the Tu-134 crash near Petrozavodsk have come to the conclusion that all of the aerodrome's radio-technical and light equipment was working normally until the plane damaged the power lines.
According to the Interstate Aviation Committee, "the power outage at the airport was caused by the crash."
The Interstate Aviation Committee has established that the power in the light signal equipment went off for a short period of time, the autonomous sources of power (diesel generators) worked on time, and the power supply was restored five seconds after it went off.
The Tu-134 crashed near Petrozavodsk on June 21. Forty-seven people were killed in the crash.
