BAKU - An overwhelming majority of voters in Azerbaijan would support incumbent President Ilham Aliyev in presidential elections if they were held soon, the Rey (Opinion) monitoring center found after conducting a nationwide public opinion poll of about 1,500 adult respondents on April 8-11. If presidential elections in Azerbaijan were held next Sunday, about 91% of those polled would vote for Aliyev, and 76% do not see an alternative to Aliyev as president, the poll found.
