Vladivostok - Russian President Vladimir Putin has had a brief working meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who is leading a U.S. delegation at an APEC summit.
The meeting took place on the forum's sidelines before an official ceremony on behalf of the Russian president in honor of the leaders of the APEC states.
Clinton is leading the U.S. delegation, as U.S. President Barack Obama had to attend a Democratic National Convention, where he was nominated for reelection in November.
