MOSCOW - Russian President Vladimir Putin is to hold talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on May 10, his spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
“We can confirm that we are in fact expecting the German chancellor to be in Moscow on May 10. Talks will be held between Merkel and Putin at the Kremlin, both in a narrow and a more expanded format,” Peskov told reporters on April 29 evening.
It is expected that after their talks the Russian and German leaders will give a joint press conference, Peskov said.
