Moscow - Russia's sovereignty and territorial integrity are under no direct threat now, given that the world's strategic balanced is maintained, said President Vladimir Putin.

“There is no direct military threat menacing Russia’s sovereignty or
territorial integrity, of course. The world strategic balance is a
guarantee of this,” Putin told the Russian Security Council.

Putin also said that Russia has been rigorously observing
international law in its obligations to partners, and hopes that other
countries and military-political alliances will take this into account.
