The Russian Federal Consumer Rights Service (Rospotrebnadzor) has not found any evidence of there being palm oil in cheese produced at Hadiachsyr (Poltava region) during its inspection on March 27-28.

"Palm oil could not be found there, as the plant is closed," Rospotrebnadzor chief Gennady Onishchenko told Interfax-Ukraine late on April 3.

The agency has the documents confirming that no evidence of the use of palm oil in cheese was found during an inspection on Hadiachsyr.

As reported, following an inspection on Hadiachsyr, which was conducted by Rospotrebnadzor experts from March 27 to March 28, the Russian agency pointed to numerous violations in the technological process of cheese production.

As reported, on February 7, 2012, Russia banned imports of cheese made by some of Ukrainian producers to that country due to a lack of compliance of their products with the Russian technical regulations regarding milk and dairy foods.
