Russia as the G-20 president is going to revise decisions made by the group earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin told a news conference in Los Cabos, Mexico.
“The subjects shaped at Los Cabos will be developed during Russian presidency in the G-20,” Putin said.
Russia is going to preserve continuity in the forum’s activity and center on discussing problems which G-20 was called to resolve, he said.
“One should continue reforming the international financial and currency system, strengthen international financial institutions, continue changes in the sphere of regulating international financial markets,” Putin said.
“We will also continue debates on such non-financial issues as energy climate, world trade and development assistance,” he said.
The agenda of the next G-20 summit due in St. Petersburg in the fall of 2013 will be based on scenarios of global economy development, he said.
“But I can say now that we will revise all obligations that G-20 undertook earlier,” Putin said.
