Minsk - Russia will react if the executive agencies of the European Union or the United States make use of the so-called Magnitsky Act.
“Such gestures do not come without a reaction in diplomacy,” Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a news conference in Minsk after a meeting of the Russian and Belarusian foreign ministries’ senior officials.
Russian lawyer Sergei Magnitsky died in SIZO in Moscow during his preliminary detention. Magnitsky Act is meant to put sanctions against Russian officials implicated in human rights violations.
