MOSCOW — The narrow monetary base in Russia stood at 7245.2 billion rubles on July 23 up from 7219.1 billion rubles on July 16, the Central Bank reported on Friday.

The narrow monetary base includes cash in circulation (including cash
held at credit institutions), and balances on banks’ mandatory
local-currency-deposit reserve accounts with the Central Bank.
