PRETORIA, South Africa - Russian arms makers and exports do not predict any disruption in arms exports and their ability to meet the 2014 targets, said Vladimir Kozhin, Russian Presidential Aide for Military-Technical Cooperation.

“Our order book is not shrinking. Those contracts that were and will be planned, including at this exhibition, may not be reviewed. I do not think there will be any disruption,” Kozhin told journalists at the biggest arms show, Africa and Aerospace Defense (AAD) 2014, which opened in South Africa on Sept. 17.

The arms export targets set for 2014 will be met despite the Western sanctions, he said. “Absolutely,” Kozhin said.
