MOSCOW - Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina, convicted members of the feminist punk group Pussy Riot, will not change their lawyers, lawyer Mark Feigin told Interfax after meeting with the women in the detention facility on Thursday evening.

“They girls said we will stay their lawyers and will continue
fighting. There will be no compromises, we will fight this system till
the end,” Feigin said.

Feigin said Alyokhina and Tolokonnikova are happy for Yekaterina
Samutsevich, who has been released from custody, but are expecting
explanations of what happened from her.

“The girls said Katya should take responsibility and tell everyone
what precisely happened to eliminate all talk of a split in the group,”
Feigin said.

The defense lawyers’ principles and position in this case remain the same, Feigin said.
