Moscow - The Vnukovo airport's air traffic controller Alexander Kruglov has denied his guilt in the October 20 crash of Total CEO Christophe de Margerie's Falcon jet.

“I am not guilty. I acted in total compliance with our regulations,” Kruglov said at a hearing at Moscow’s Basmanny Court on Oct. 24.

The air traffic controller also said he was not going to hide from investigators.

Kruglov was the supervisor of intern air traffic controller Svetlana Krivun, who worked with the pilots of the Falcon plane, which was taking off from Moscow’s Vnukovo airport when it clipped a snowplow and burst into flames, killing the Total head and three crew members.
