Talks about selling a majority stake in Italian firm Cavalli Group to Russia's VTB Capital has died after months of negotiations, said three people familiar with the matter, as the company's valuation was seen as too high, added one of them - a failure that marks the last of a long series of unsuccessful attempts by the Italian fashion house to bring investors in.
